What started out as something "different" and "cool" turned out to be the start of a new chapter. HY(A.I.)PE was never intended to be a continous A.I. project but with the success of K A.I. To follow up with our K A.I. W S collection we decided to pay homage to a well known artist, Takashi Murakami. In the world of hype and urban culture, it's a must to know who Murakami is so that's what we did. One last artist we pay homage to in our genesis stage is Ralph Steadman also known for his unique ink splatter style. In a closing act to stop paying homage to other artists and to build our own "style" we felt Ralph Steadman greatly represented this.
